Holy Kaba

Madina Mosque

These are some verses of the Noble Qur’an along with their some virtues:

Verse for Protection from Magic

In Tafsir al-Qurtubi, it is narrated from Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah Almighty be pleased with them both) that whoever lies down on his bed and recites this verse:

(Yunus 81)
So when they threw, Musa (peace be upon him) said: “What you have brought is sorcery; indeed Allah Almighty will soon nullify it. Surely, Allah Almighty does not set right the work of the corrupters.”
Magic cannot harm him.
Verse for Acceptance of Supplication

It is narrated from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr that whoever supplicates after reciting verse 46 of Surah Az-Zumar, his supplication will be accepted:

Say, “O Allah Almighty, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You will judge between Your servants concerning that over which they used to differ.”
Supplication for Settling in a Place and Upon Entering a House

When a person stays in a place, whether in a mosque or elsewhere, or when he enters his home, he should recite verse 29 of Surah Al-Mu’minun:

And say, “My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best of those who bring to land.”
