Hadith of the Messenger of Allah Almighty ﷺ
Qudsi Hadith about attributing the rain to Allah Almighty the Exalted:
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 1038, 846)
It is narrated from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah Almighty (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) led us in the Fajr prayer at al-Hudaybiyyah after it had rained during the night. When the Prophet (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) finished the prayer, he turned to the people and said: “Do you know what your Lord has said?” They replied, “Allah Almighty and His Messenger know best.” The Prophet (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) said, “This morning, some of My servants have remained true believers in Me, while others have become disbelievers. As for the one who says, ‘We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah Almighty,’ he is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the stars. But the one who says, ‘We have been given rain by such-and-such a star,’ he is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the stars.”
Qudsi Hadith about cursing time:
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 2246)
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah Almighty (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) said: Allah Almighty the Exalted said: “The son of Adam offends Me; he curses time, yet I am time; in My hand are the night and the day.” (Meaning: I am the One who controls time, I cause the alternation of night and day, and all events occur by My decree.)
Qudsi Hadith about the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty the Exalted:
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah Almighty (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) said:
“When Allah Almighty created the creation, He wrote in a Book which is with Him above the Throne: ‘Indeed, My mercy overcomes My wrath.’” And in another narration:
(“It overpowered My wrath”) and in another:
(“It preceded My wrath”). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 7554; Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 6969)
Qudsi Hadith about the power and oneness of Allah Almighty the Exalted:
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah Almighty (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) said:
Allah Almighty the Almighty said: The son of Adam denies Me, though he has no right to do so, and he reviles Me, though he has no right to do so. His denial of Me is his saying: ‘He will not recreate me as He created me the first time.’ But the first creation is no easier for Me than the recreation. And his reviling Me is his saying: ‘Allah Almighty has taken a son,’ while I am the One, the Eternal Refuge. I did not beget, nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 4974)
