The Heart of Man Is Between Two Fingers of Allah Almighty

It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah Almighty be pleased with them both) that he heard the Messenger of Allah Almighty (May Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) say: “The hearts of all the children of Adam are between two fingers of the Most Merciful, like a single heart. He turns them in any direction He wills.” Then the Messenger of Allah Almighty (May Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) said: “O Allah Almighty, Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts toward obedience to You.”
Supplication with the Greatest Name of Allah Almighty

(O Allah Almighty! I ask You because You are Allah Almighty, the One, the Eternal, Who neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none equal to Him.)
Then the Messenger of Allah Almighty (May Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) said: “He has indeed asked Allah Almighty by His Greatest Name, which, when He is asked by it, He gives, and when He is called upon by it, He answers.”

Supplication for Forgiveness of Sins
It is narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) that he said: Whenever the Messenger of Allah Almighty (May Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) performed prayer, one of the last supplications he would say between the Tashahhud and Tasleem was:
(O Allah Almighty! Forgive me for my past and future sins, those done in secret and those done openly, my excesses, and whatever You know better than I do. You are the One Who brings forward and the One Who delays. There is no deity except You.)
“O Lord! Forgive and pardon all my sins — past and future, hidden and open, and all my transgressions which You know better than me. You are the One Who advances whom You will to good and Paradise, and You are the One Who delays whom You will. There is no true god but You.”
Comprehensive Supplication
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha (may Allah Almighty be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah Almighty (May Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) taught her this supplication:
(O Allah Almighty! I ask You for all good—immediate and delayed—what I know of it and what I do not know. I seek refuge in You from all evil—immediate and delayed—what I know of it and what I do not know. O Allah Almighty! I ask You for the good that Your servant and prophet asked You for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil from which Your servant and prophet sought refuge. O Allah Almighty! I ask You for Paradise and for every word and deed that brings one near to it, and I seek refuge in You from Hellfire and from every word and deed that brings one near to it. And I ask You to make every decree that You ordain for me good.)
