Supplications During Prayer
Remembrances after prayer:
الله اکبر ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ أَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلاَمُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْـجَلاَلِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
Allah Almighty is the Greatest. I seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty, I seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty, I seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty. O Allah Almighty! You are Peace, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honor.
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْـمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْـحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ، أَللَّهُمَّ لاَ مَانِعَ لِـمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلاَ مُعْطِيَ لِـمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلاَ يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْـجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْـجَدُّ
There is no true deity except Allah Almighty, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah Almighty! None can prevent what You grant, and none can give what You withhold. The wealth of the wealthy will not avail them against You.
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّى عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
O Allah Almighty! Help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.
لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
There is no god, master, ruler, or legislator except Allah Almighty, alone without any partner. Dominion belongs solely to Him, and all praise is for Him, and He has power over everything.
After every prayer, once:
اللهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاء وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allah Almighty! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. He is the Most High, the Most Great.
After Fajr (morning) and Maghrib (evening) prayers, recite three times, and after other prayers, once:
قُـلْ هُـوَ اللهُ أَحَـدٌ …..(الإِخْـلاصْ) قُـلْ أَعـوذُ بِرَبِّ الفَلَـقِ…..(الفَلَـقْ) قُـلْ أَعـوذُ بِرَبِّ النّـاسِ…..(النّاس)
Recite: Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas.
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، الْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
(each 33 times) and
اللهُ أکبر
(34 times).
Supplication when entering the mosque:
Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) narrated that when the Prophet (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) would go to the mosque, he would say:
”أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ“
“I seek refuge with Allah Almighty, the Almighty, with His Noble Face and His eternal authority, from the accursed Satan.”
Then Uqbah said: “Is that all?” I replied, “Yes.” He said: “When a person says this upon entering the mosque, Satan says, ‘He is protected from me for the rest of the day.’”

And also say:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الصلاة والسلام على رسول الله اللهم افتح لي أبواب رحمتك
In the narration of Abu Hurairah (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah Almighty (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) said: When any of you enters the mosque, let him send peace upon the Prophet (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) and say:
اللهم افتح لي أبواب رحمتك
“O Allah Almighty! Open for me the doors of Your mercy.”
And when leaving the mosque, send peace upon the Prophet (may Allah Almighty bless him and give him peace) and say:
اللهم اعصمني من الشيطان الرجيم
“O Allah Almighty! Protect me from the accursed Satan.”
